Submission for the BICeBé 2019 Poster call, Women's Empowerment category - Selected as a finalist for the BICeBé 2019

Women's empowerment is the process in which women develop and recreate what they can be, do, and achieve in circumstances that were previously denied to them. When it comes to sport, women face many inequalities. With my animated GIF, my goal is to draw attention to this issue and inspire women not to let the judgments of others (men, media, etc.) stop them or slow them down.

The staircase shows the path to overcoming the obstacles that women face on a daily basis. Despite all the obstacles thrown at them daily - they are unstoppable. I want everyone to know that women are capable of anything and deserve better. My goal with this project is to motivate girls to keep pushing to achieve their goals and find equality.
